Miranda Lambert nodded to her Kerosene days as she premiered the fiery new music video for her revenge anthem, “Wranglers,” on Thursday (June 13).

Nearly two decades after unleashing Kerosene, the powerhouse singer-songwriter and a group of friends teamed up to set an ex’s belongings on fire in the video directed by “my long-time fire starter,” Trey Fanjoy. The video opens with Lambert meeting up with “some of the most bada** gal pals,” and embracing her crying friend in a hug. The friend said “it was just so awful,” and “he told me to send his stuff to this address.”

Lambert took the folded piece of paper with an address written on it, and said: “Alright, well, if he wants his sh*t back, we’re gonna send him his sh*t back.”

Lambert released her hotly-anticipated single last month, following several teasers with flashbacks to several career-spanning hits, including 2011’s “Mama’s Broken Heart,” 2014’s “Little Red Wagon,” her 2014 collaboration with Carrie Underwood, “Somethin’ Bad,” and “Kerosene.” “Wranglers” is the first impression of Lambert’s next chapter of music, following her latest full-length project, Palomino, which debuted in 2022. Since then, Lambert has also released her duet with Enrique Iglesias, “Space in My Heart,” her live performance of “Carousel” from the 2023 ACM Awards, “If You Were Mine” with Leon Bridges, and more. Watch her new music video below (warning: language).
