Cole Swindell revealed the song that’s “definitely my wife’s favorite” on his upcoming studio record.

Swindell kicked off the weekend with “We Can Always Move On” on Friday (April 18). He said “this is one of my favorites, (and) definitely my wife’s favorite on the album.” The country star’s wife, Courtney Little Swindell, gushed on her Instagram story that the song is a “SMASH,” and “if you need me I’ll be jamming to this for the foreseeable future.” The couple got married in an intimate ceremony in June 2024 in Sonoma County, California. they went on their honeymoon in Turks and Caicos, and returned home to host a reception for more than 250 guests in Nashville, Tennessee. The parents-to-be announced last month that Courtney is pregnant with Baby No. 1, a daughter due later this year.

“We Can Always Move On” — written by Kyle Fishman, Thomas Archer and Michael Tyler, and produced by Fishman and Jimmy Robbins — is the latest track to release from Spanish Moss, Swindell’s fifth studio record due to arrive this summer. So far, the Georgia-born country star has released the title track, “Kill A Prayer,” “One Day” and “Forever To Me” — a romantic ballad that served as his wedding song — from the upcoming album. Spanish Moss will make its debut on June 27. In early September, Swindell will kick off his headlining “Happy Hour Sad Tour,” which includes Priscilla Block, Logan Crosby and Greylan James. Swindell is also part of the star-studded lineup of the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival, which is slated to take place on Saturday, May 3. The festival, hosted by iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones, will return to Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Other artists in the lineup include Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Megan Moroney, Bailey Zimmerman and Nate Smith. Smith and Moroney will also perform at the free Daytime Village, taking over the Dell Technologies Plaza from 12:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m. CT. that lineup also includes Matt Stell, Tucker Wetmore and Dasha.

Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed exclusively to all Hulu subscribers at no additional cost. Additional information about the livestream will be posted across Hulu’s platform and social media channels.
