The historic village is called Covehithe. People have lived here for a thousand years. It's church dates back six-hundred years. It's in the southeast of England and it's close to the coast. In fact, it's much closer to the coast today than it was even ten years ago. The town hasn't moved. But the steady erosion of the cliff side by high tides is slowly working its way to the town. They've talked of ways to preserve it and have determined that it's unsustainable. Estimates say the historic town will be gone by the end of the century, maybe much sooner.
