Country artist Randall King and his fiancée are expecting Baby No. 1!

King and his fiancée, mother-to-be and singer-songwriter Brittany Warthan, revealed their pregnancy news to Us Weekly on Monday (January 13). King and Warthan debuted an emotional duet for their growing family, and King said in a statement to the outlet: “I’m about to be a father. I am responsible for a life. I’m responsible for my family. It’s definitely changed my perspective and it’s changed the angles of my songwriting. There’s a happiness in my writing now that wasn’t in my music forever.”

King is one of several country artists welcoming a baby into the family in 2025. Other artists include Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney, Elle King, HARDY, Emmy Russell (former American Idol finalist and late country legend Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter), and Sam Hunt to name a few. Some artists are also welcoming their first babies, while others are expecting No. 2, 3 or 4. See the growing list of pregnancy announcements here.

King and Warthan shared some of their song “Baby Steps,” the ballad the parents-to-be sing together in honor of their child, on Instagram. Randall credited Keith Matchett with bringing the video to life, in addition to photographer Evan De Stefano. Listen to the clip of the duet here:
