Don't Take The 'Hot Country Knights' Too Seriously
The idea for this band was hatched in Dierks Bentley's fertile mind after the end of a tour to relieve boredom. He puts on a mullet wig and tight Wrangler jeans and takes on an alter ego named Douglas Douglason, the self proclaimed front man of this 90's country cover band. Problem is, the bass player, Trevor Travis, thinks he's the front man, which leads to some on stage hysterics. 'Hot Country Knights' actually performs each night on Dierks Bentley's tour as the lead off act. The funniest part about it is, half the audience doesn't know isn't in on the prank and doesn't know it's actually Dierks Bentley and his band.
