The Cobb County Georgia Sheriff's Department celebrated the nurses, doctors, technicians and other medical staff of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and Wellstar Cobb Hospital Thursday afternoon in a great way.
A parade of police cars outside the hospital with partol cars rolling by the medical staff that was standing outside. The car's lights were flashing and drivers waved their thanks. Repeated thanks to the health care workers for their hard work on the front lines of Covid-19 were shouted through car speakers. The deputies also got out of their cars to stand at attention in front of the hospital and the crowd of cheering staff to show their gratitude and respect.
Other First Responders are also getting into the act. Spartanburg Regional also received a heroes parade from Fire, Police and Sheriffs!
