Luke Bryan is gearing up for an all-new season of American Idol!

The award-winning country artist is set to return to the show for the sixth time. He serves on the celebrity judge panel of the smash-hit singing competition series, hosted by beloved TV personality and radio host Ryan Seacrest. Fellow superstars Lionel Richie and Katy Perry will also return as judges, alongside Bryan. The “Country On” singer recently shared his favorite part about American Idol as he prepares to launch into the next season.

“Facilitating the American dream of people that are chasing their dreams and chasing the stars, that’s the neatest thing about American Idol,” Bryan said, per his record label. “When a kid walks through the door, you never know if they’re gonna change our lives, change their lives and change some people watching at home, change their lives too. That’s the special part about American Idol, a kid can walk in and for the rest of their life, they can go follow their dreams and do what they love – sing music.”

American Idol is set to return with the season 21 premiere on February 19. The show airs on ABC and is available to stream on Hulu.
